Luke Littler to make a rapid entry into the World Series darts event in Bahrain this month

The 16-year-old Luke Littler, who was the runner-up in the world championship, is set to make his debut in the World Series later this month. Littler’s impressive performance at Alexandra Palace gained him worldwide attention, leading the Professional Darts Corporation to include him in the lineups for the Bahrain Darts Masters and the Dutch Darts Masters.
Although he narrowly missed out on becoming the youngest world champion, losing 7-4 to Luke Humphries, Littler’s achievements have provided him with new opportunities. He has already secured a place in the Premier League and will now be part of the 16-player fields at the two-day events in Bahrain on 18-19 January and in Maaspoort Den Bosch on 26-27 January.
In Bahrain, Humphries will be announced as the world champion for the first time. Alongside him, Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Michael Smith, Nathan Aspinall, Peter Wright, and Rob Cross will compete against eight local representatives in both tournaments.
