Labour councillor withdraws from selection process due to concerns regarding the nature of their novels being deemed as provocative and associated with dark themes.

A Fife politician, Altany Craik, has reportedly withdrawn from the Scottish Labour contest to be the party’s candidate for the Glenrothes constituency in next year’s general election. Sources close to Craik suggest that his decision was influenced by concerns raised by the party regarding the occult horror books that he writes.
