Iran asserts that it carried out the execution of four individuals accused of involvement in acts of ‘sabotage’ on behalf of Israel.

Four individuals accused of “moharebeh,” meaning waging war against God, and collaborating with Israel have been hanged in Iran’s West Azerbaijan province. Three men, Vafa Hanareh, Aram Omari, and Rahman Parhazo, along with one woman named Nasim Namazi, were convicted of committing acts of sabotage and causing corruption on Earth. According to Iranian intelligence, the group, under Mossad’s guidance, carried out extensive actions against national security, including kidnapping Iranian security forces and setting fire to their properties. The remaining members of the group received 10-year prison sentences. The execution followed the recent Israeli airstrike in Damascus, which resulted in the killing of high-ranking Iranian general Sayyed Razi Mousavi. Iran accused Israel of being behind the airstrike and vowed revenge.
