A man passes away following collision involving van and group of individuals in Derbyshire.

A van struck a group of people in Ilkeston, resulting in the death of one person. The incident occurred at around 2am on Saturday.
Derbyshire police were called to Market Place in Ilkeston shortly before 2.10am. The driver of the van, believed to be the perpetrator, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.
Emergency services attended the scene and one man tragically lost his life, while two others were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-serious injuries.
The authorities have clarified that this incident is not related to terrorism. Market Place will remain closed as police conduct their investigation, and any witnesses are urged to come forward.
