A man is facing a murder charge in connection with the fatal incident of Chris Marriott in Sheffield.

Hassan Jhangur, 23, has been accused of the killing of a man who was struck by a car while assisting an unconscious woman, according to South Yorkshire police.
Earlier, the family of Chris Marriott, the 46-year-old man who died, expressed that the circumstances surrounding his death showcased his character. In a statement provided by the police, his family described him as a “loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and a dear friend to many.”
On Friday evening, authorities confirmed that a 32-year-old woman involved in the incident remains in the hospital in a serious condition.
A statement from the police revealed: “Hassan Jhangur, 23, from Whiteways Road, Sheffield, was arrested and subsequently charged with murder and five counts of attempted murder. He is currently in police custody and is scheduled to appear at Sheffield Magistrates Court tomorrow.”
