A 29-year-old man was tragically stabbed to death in the vicinity of Abbey Road in north-west London.

Police are conducting a murder investigation after a stabbing incident occurred on the Abbey estate near St John’s Wood on Friday evening.

According to the authorities, a 29-year-old man was fatally stabbed in north-west London. The London ambulance service alerted the police, who arrived at the scene shortly after 7.30pm.

The victim, who remains unidentified, was discovered injured and received initial medical treatment from paramedics at the location. He was then transported to the hospital but unfortunately passed away later that night.

Detectives, who have launched a murder investigation, are currently conducting inquiries at the scene near Abbey Road. Meanwhile, a cordon has been established for investigation purposes.

At this early stage, no arrests have been made, as stated by Scotland Yard.

The victim’s family has been informed, and a postmortem examination will be conducted in due course.

DCI Neil Rawlinson, leading the investigation, urges anyone who was in the Abbey estate area between 7pm and 8pm on Friday night to come forward if they witnessed or heard anything related to this fatal stabbing.

He further expressed his team’s commitment to identifying and apprehending the individual responsible for this tragic loss of life due to knife crime.
