A 15-year-old boy has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder following the death of a teenager while waiting to witness New Year’s Eve fireworks.

Harry Pitman, 16, passed away after an incident that police referred to as “a confrontation” amidst the gathering of people in Primrose Hill, Camden, north London, eagerly awaiting the display.

On Tuesday, the 15-year-old was apprehended, alongside an 18-year-old man who was held under suspicion of affray.

Earlier today, Tayla, Harry’s 19-year-old sister, addressed her brother’s character in a TikTok video, asserting that he was a “well-behaved young man” with a “kindhearted nature” and would not have participated in any violence.
